Thank you for those that attende the SAAS Summit for Civic Engagement & Social Entrepreneurship on Sunday, May 5, 2024. We found ourselves immersed in a dynamic exchange of ideas. With a diverse lineup of over 50 guest speakers, all current members of the Seattle Academy community in roles ranging from parents to students, alumni, and alumni parents, the summit delved into the theme of "The Work Won't Wait - Forging Coalitions for Positive Change."

From discussions on climate action to healthcare, public service, and community organizing, each panel ignited vital conversations spanning multiple sectors. We extend our gratitude to these insightful speakers whose perspectives enriched the experience, particularly for the SAAS students in attendance. To all our 300+ attendees, thank you for contributing to the Summit's success. Your presence exemplified the power of collaboration in propelling meaningful solutions forward. We remain inspired by the unwavering dedication of the Cardinal community to effect positive change on a global scale. Until the next Summit, let's continue to champion progress together!

Head of School for Seattle Academy, Rob Phillips, kicked off our first event with this quote from Jim Collins, "It’s one thing to eliminate misalignments that exist but shouldn’t. It’s another to create something that doesn’t yet exist but ought to." View the videos below to get a sense of the SAAS Summit events on the Seattle Academy campus.
